Etsy fees, explained simply.
CraftMargin estimates one order at a time. The three scanner cards are separate order scenarios — Share & Save is never stacked with Offsite Ads.
What is included in the calculation?
Revenue = item price × units + buyer shipping. Profit = revenue − transaction, payment, listing, regulatory and optional FX / Offsite fees + eligible refund − product, shipping, packaging, labor and allocated costs. Margin = profit / revenue. Buyer tax collected by Etsy increases payment-processing fees, but is not revenue. Tax you must remit from an inclusive price is entered separately.
Country presets and currency
US: 3% + USD 0.25; Korea: 6.5% + USD 0.30; UK: 4% + GBP 0.20; Germany / France: 4% + EUR 0.30; Canada: 3% + CAD 0.25 domestic/US, 4% international; Australia: 3% + AUD 0.25 domestic, 4% international. Regulatory rates: UK 0.48%, Canada 0.50%, France 1.14%. Other supported presets: 0%.
The USD listing fee (0.20 per sold unit allocation) and Offsite cap (USD 100 per order) require your manual USD exchange rate outside USD accounts. No live FX feed is used; non-USD countries start with a clearly marked example rate. Unchanged rates are estimates.
Offsite Ads and Share & Save eligibility
Offsite attributed orders generally incur 15%, or 12% after reaching USD 10,000 in sales over a prior 365-day period, with a USD 100 cap per order. The lower tier is mandatory after qualification. Share & Save normally refunds 4% on eligible orders within 30 days of an eligible shared-link click. Temporary promotions are not auto-selected. Verify your actual attribution.
